Natural sea salt from Tejakula, Bali is high quality salt with excellent mineral balance due to the high salt content of seawater from the natural upwelling of deep sea water.

Using a traditional method of salt making, seawater is sprinkled on salt fields and dried by the sun, allowing the sunlight and wind to evaporate the water.

The resulting coarse salt is then strained through spring water (holy water) and dried again by the sun, without ever being heated.

The probability of the salt crystallizing into a pyramid shape, known as tremie, is said to be one in a million, making it a very rare natural salt in the world.
